A big-breed puppy can be four times his size by eighteen months. Buy a bed for the puppy in front of you and you buy again at six months, and again at a year. Size for the grown dog and one bed sees him from puppy to senior.

What we did at the pool.
Dash & Splash is the region's biggest dog pool party and the Humane Society run it as a fundraiser. We brought all four sizes down to the poolside for the day.
Any dog was welcome to climb on and try one, straight out of the water. Most of them did. Just under twelve hundred dogs came through, which the shelter tells us made it their biggest one to date.
What we gave.
We gave the Humane Society a bed to use however was most useful to them. They put it up as an incentive for the people raising money for the event, and one of those fundraisers won it.
That is the version we prefer. A bed we hand over does nothing on its own. A bed that makes somebody raise money for a shelter does the work twice.
Who hosted.
The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth do not assign their dogs a breed, because they cannot guarantee one. Every dog on their site is listed small, medium or large.
That is the same problem this company exists to solve. Nobody can tell you how big he will get, so you size for the adult dog rather than the one in front of you.

We are Bruno & Co., a small team in Kitchener, Ontario, and we make one thing: a three-layer orthopedic bed for big dogs, in four sizes. It is designed by us in Kitchener and made to our specification by our manufacturing partner.
What is actually inside it
Three layers, not one bag of stuffing. A memory foam top that takes his shape, a cooling gel layer under it, and a firm base - the layer that decides whether he can feel the floor. Three inches of foam on Small and Medium, four on Large and Extra Large. The whole cover unzips, bolsters included.
